MBC’s upcoming drama The Brave Yong Soo-Jung released its second trailer, featuring Uhm Hyun-Kyung in the lead. Directed by Lee Min-Soo and Kim Mi-Sook and penned by Choi Yeon-Geol, it is a romance-revenge K-drama.
The storyline revolves around Yong Soo-Jung (Uhm Hyun-Kyung), a straightforward woman who dreams of becoming a successful businesswoman. However, when it comes to expressing her feelings to the person she likes, she fumbles. She likes Joo Woo-Jin (Kwon Hwa Woon), the successor of the Masung Group. On the other hand, there’s Yeo Eui-Joo, who lives with his intellectually impaired mom. He is hardworking but belongs to a poor family. But when he finds out his birth secret, things take a sharp turn.

The second trailer of The Brave Yong Soo-Jung shows Hwang Jae-Rim (Kim Yong-rim) discovering the birth secret of the Masung Group. On the other hand, Lee Yeong-Ae (Yang Jeon-Ah) is seen getting kidnapped. Meanwhile, Soo-Jung (Uhm Hyun-Kyung) exudes anxious and horrific expressions as she gets targeted by a gun. She faces life-threatening challenges one after the other.
The clip further shows how Yeo Eui-Joo (Seo Joon-Young) gets into a fight with Joo Woo-Jin. He grabs his collar and makes a punch with his hand. On the other hand, Min Kyung-Hwa punishes someone to ‘die’ who is hanging by a cliff. This scene makes the audience more curious about what will happen in the drama.
The viewers are interested to know the connection between all the characters. A sentence can be heard in the video clip, ‘I will repay everything to you who took everything from me,’ leaving the audience in thought. Yong Soo-Jung’s last revengeful expression is enough to prove how vigorous Uhm Hyun-Kyung’s character will be.
The Brave Yong Soo-Jung is set to release on May 6, 2024, at 7 p.m. KST on MBC.
