MBC recently shared the Chief Detective 1958 episode 3 trailer, starring Lee Je-Hoon as Detective Park Young-Han. The K-drama is a comedy crime series revolving around a team of unlikely detectives.
In the previous episode, Young-Han created his team of four, including Kim Sang-Soon (Lee Dong-Hwi), Cho Kyung-Hwan (Choi Woo-Sung), and Seo Ho-Jeong (Yoon Hyun-Soo). They solved an intense situation while adding fun elements to every scene. The episode also featured Young-Han’s attraction towards a library owner, Lee Hae-Joo (Seo Eun-Soo).
The Chief Detective 1958 episode 3 trailer features the four detectives all set to work on a new mission. However, things get difficult when Young-Han ends up in prison.

The Chief Detective 1958 episode 3 trailer begins with a group of robbers attacking an office. The culprit narrates, “It’s time for the real operation.” Chief Yoo Dae-Cheon assigns the case to his unit, consisting of a team of four unlikely detectives. He informs the team that the robbers are former military men.
The trailer further shows the robbers shooting innocent people, mostly security guards. Detective Park Young-Han (Lee Je-Hoon) decides that his team will not sit quietly. As part of their mission, Sang-Soon (Dong-Hwi) goes undercover as one of the security guards.
Meanwhile, Unit 2 detectives make things difficult for Young-Han and his colleagues. They arrest Young-Han, Kyung-Hwan (Choi Woo-Sung), and Ho-Jeong (Yoon Hyun-Soo) and put them in prison. Towards the end of the trailer, the Unit 1 detectives seem to have come out of jail as they draw their guns at the robbers.
The detectives chase the robbers and get involved in a car chase, with guns shooting from both sides. Will Young-Han’s team save the day again? Only time will tell.
Chief Detective 1958 episode 3 will air on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 9.50 p.m. KST on MBC. It also streams on Disney Plus.
