Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri episode 18 premiered on April 18, 2024, on KBS. The episode focuses on Chae Woo-Ri (Baek Sung-Hyun) and Han Hyun-Sung’s (Shin Jung-Yoon) interaction. Woo-Ri is a rookie psychiatrist working at Haedeul Hospital. On the other hand, Hyun-Sung is the son of Haedeul Hospital’s director, Jin Tae. The two male characters are having a cold relationship because of Jin Soo-Ji, the celebrity doctor of the same hospital, and Hyun-Sung’s love interest.
The storyline of the rom-com is about the love story of Jin Soo-Ji (Hahm Eun-Jung) and Chae Woo-Ri. But how the drama will unfold to show their romance is what the viewers are waiting for. So far, they have only been seen bantering with each other. However, they also have a soft corner in their hearts for each other. So far, Soo-Ji is spending time with Hyun-Sung, and her sister, Jin Na-Young, has occupied Woo-Ri’s headspace.
Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri Episode 18: Did Kang Byul pass the audition?
The episode begins with Han Hyun-Sung distributing food and beverages to the employees of the psychiatric ward. He even gives a pack of cakes to Chae Woo-Ri and tries to be friends with him. He calls themselves ‘drinking buddies,’ but from Woo-Ri’s expression, it seems he is not very happy with it. Hyun-Sung further tries to tell him about his and Soo-Ji’s relationship status, which he cuts short and says that he knows. They share a cold interaction.
In the meantime, Jin Na-Young gets removed from the list of finalists as the CEO decides someone else to be the MC. Viewers find out that they have Jin Soo-Ji in mind for the position. But she turns it down politely and asks to reappoint Na-Young, who got the position fair and square. After learning about the news, Na-Young gets too upset. On the other hand, Yoon-Ja sees Sun-Young after a long time. The audience sees a flashback of their interaction when she first appears in her home.
Meanwhile, Jin Soo-Ji’s father, Jin Jang-Soo, breaks down due to everything that has been going on with his business while having a BiBi roll made by his mother. The episode further shows Chae Woo-Ri is in a dilemma as to what to say to Jin Na-Young (Kang Byul) after her confession. At that time, Na-Young calls him to meet her. They meet at a bar, where she gulps down a neat whiskey. She starts crying and cribbing about how she got rejected from being an MC. In the meantime, Hyun-Sung and Soo-Ji also enter the same bar. The episode ends with an awkward meeting.
