Recently, JTBC shared a new trailer of The Atypical Family highlighting how Chun Woo-Hee is blending into the Bok family. Woo-He plays Do Da-Hae, the mysterious girl who can help restore the powers of the Bok family members.
The storyline of the upcoming K-drama revolves around a family possessing different superpowers, but with time, they start to lose their powers. With modern-day diseases and mental health issues, their powers are adversely affected. However, Do Da-Hae is a character who can become the key to solving their problems. In The Atypical Family, Jang Ki-Yong plays Bok Gwi-Joo, who can travel back in time to happy memories, but his depression makes it difficult.
The Atypical Family: Why does Chun Woo-Hee leave Bok’s house startled?
JTBC dropped a new teaser of The Atypical Family, which begins with Do Da-Hae entering the premises of Bok house with a basket of flowers. Bok Man-Heum welcomes her with a bright smile. However, Bok Gwi-Joo remains distant. She starts to explore the family and the powers of the members. Bok Dong-Hee says to Da-Hae, “Our family wasn’t originally like this. We wound up like this because each of us is broken.”
She figures out that Bok Man-Heum can see the future while Bok Gwi-Joo can travel through time. On the other hand, Bok Dong-Hee can fly. But Bok Yi-Na is quite mysterious to her. She doesn’t exhibit any superpowers but looks suspicious. Da-Hae (Chun Woo-Hee) tries to find out her power but fails.
Later, in the teaser of The Atypical Family, Bok Man-Heum says, “There’s no doubt. She’s the savior who will bring back our lost powers.” However, at the end of the video clip, Do Da-Hae is seen running away from the Bok house after witnessing something overwhelming. What she sees is mysterious to the viewers.
The Atypical Family is slated to release on May 4, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC.
