MBC has confirmed Oh Yun-Soo’s appearance in its upcoming thriller Such a Close Traitor. The K-drama features Han Suk-Kyu in the lead. Yun-Soo and Suk-Kyu are reuniting for a project after almost 31 years.
The storyline of the psychological thriller revolves around a father and a daughter. While the father is Korea’s best profiler, his daughter gets involved in a murder case. How will he get over his dilemma and work on the case after knowing the truth? Is the plot of this K-drama. Han Suk-Kyu plays Jang Tae-Soo (the father and the profiler), and Chae Won-Bin plays his daughter, Jang Ha-Bin.
Oh Yun-Soo reunites with Han Suk-Kyu in Such a Close Traitor
Recently, MBC dropped the announcement of Oh Yun-Soo joining the star cast of their upcoming show. She will play Yoon Ji-Su’s role, Jang Tae-Soo’s ex-wife and Jang Ha-Bin’s mother. Her character will have a crucial part in this murder mystery psychological thriller. Ji-Su, after a certain turn of events, becomes the center of the narrative between the father and daughter.
Oh Yun-Soo is reuniting with Han Suk-Kyu after 31 years since they shared the screen in the 1993 MBC drama Son and Daughter. However, this is not the only reunion. Suk-Kyu is also returning to MBC after 29 years since the Hotel in 1995. This project is going to be very special for them. They will be portraying a divorced couple in the drama.
