The Midnight Romance in Hagwon trailer teases Wi Ha-Joon & Jung Ryeo-Won’s heart-fluttering romance

The Midnight Romance in Hagwon is an upcoming tvN K-drama that follows the story of an experienced instructor, Seo Hye-Jin, who reunites with her student, Lee Joon-Ho. She previously helped him enter a prestigious university, eventually becoming one of her success stories. Meanwhile, Joon-Ho leaves a high-paying job at a large company to become a rookie instructor. He reunites with his first love, Hye-Jin, whom he still has feelings for.

The trailer begins with Joon-Ho entering Hye-Jin’s life after resigning from a highly successful company. People around Hye-Jin consider Joon-Ho her “miracle baby” as she comprehends her former student’s return. Meanwhile, Joon-Ho joins the academy as a Korean language instructor, but Hye-Jin remains skeptical. She warns him, saying, “From now on, everyone besides yourself will attack you or use you.”

Gradually, the duo begins spending quality time with each other, eventually getting closer. The trailer teases Hye-Jin’s change in perspective towards looking at Joon-Ho – formerly a student but now a man. Meanwhile, Joon-Ho changes his attitude toward Hye-Jin, transitioning from calling her a “teacher” to calling her by her name. The trailer ends with the duo sharing some heart-fluttering moments. In the end, Joon-Ho says, “My patience has completely run out. Don’t avoid me.”
