Baeksang Arts Awards 2024: Hosts, date, timing & more
Shin Dong-Yup has been featured as the award ceremony host since its 50th year. He hosted every year except for 2017, when the audience saw Park Joong-Hoon taking over the baton. However, Dong-Yup is returning to his MC post this year, making it his tenth year. The audience is quite excited to see him once again on the stage.
On the other hand, Bae Suzy will host the Baeksang Arts Awards for the ninth year. She has been making her way as one of the legendary MCs of the award show since its 52nd year. Now, it’s evident that the audience will be curious to see how Suzy and Dong-Yup’s chemistry comes out. Park Bo-Gum might have less experience than them, but this will be his sixth year to host the show.
Seeing the camaraderie between Shin Dong-Yup, Bae Suzy, and Park Bo-Gum will be pretty interesting. The organizing committee of the Baeksang Arts Awards shared their opinion about the show with Munhwa.com. They said, “The three MCs add up to 25 years of hosting experience [at the Baeksang Arts Awards]. Now, they boast chemistry in which they can communicate by looking at each other’s eyes. This year is even more meaningful as it is a monumental year celebrating its 60th anniversary.”
Baeksang Arts Awards will be held on May 7, 2024, at 5 p.m. KST. Stay tuned for more updates.
