tvN‘s upcoming rom-com K-drama The Midnight Romance in Hagwon recently released new pictures. Featuring Wi Ha-Jun and Jung Ryeo-Won in the leads, the new images exude heart-fluttering romance.
The storyline revolves around a teacher, Seo Hye-Jin (Ryeo-Won), who, after meeting her former student, falls in love with him. The student who becomes an instructor, Lee Joon-Ho (Ha-Jun), leaves his high-paying job and returns to the neighborhood to meet his teacher, Hye-Jin. She is also his first love. How the couple falls in love and navigates their story while dealing with their profession is what this drama will highlight.
The Midnight Romance in Hagwon reveals Wi Ha-Jung & Jung Ryeo-Won’s photos
Recently, tvN shared new pictures of The Midnight Romance in Hagwon on their social media handle. In the posters, Lee Joon-Ho and Seo Hye-Jin are confessing their love for each other. In Wi Ha-Jun’s poster, Joon-Ho says in the caption, “Professor Seo Hye-Jin, it’s always been you from the very beginning.”
On the other hand, in Jung Ryeo-Won’s poster, Hye-Jin is seen getting lost in Joon-Ho’s gaze. She says in her caption, “Professor Lee Joon-Ho, you’re on my mind [these days].” Their love story ignites after meeting each other 10 years later. A lot of things have changed between them, but their feelings for each other have not.
Directed by Ahn Pan-Seok, The Midnight Romance in Hagwon is going to be a heart-fluttering K-drama. It will surely leave butterflies in viewers’ stomachs. The production team shared with Herald Pop (originally in Korean), “You can safely look forward to the romantic chemistry between Jung Ryeo-Won and Wi Ha-Joon. You’ll be able to fully feel the synergy between them as they capture Seo Hye Jin and Lee Joon Ho’s stories and emotions with just one look or one line of dialogue.”
The Midnight Romance in Hagwon is slated to release on May 11, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN.
