The Crown Prince Has Disappeared: Suho talks about his period drama debut
Kim Jin-Man directed “The Crown Prince Has Disappeared,” a periodic rom-com drama written by Park Chul and Kim Ji-Su.
Talking about the pressure and challenge of performing a historical role, Suho opened up about his experience to Osen. He said, “This is my first starring role in a historical drama since my debut. It was not without pressure, as it was in the genre of a historical drama. It had a historical tone, and I thought it was not easy to express the Joseon Dynasty.”
Moreover, Suho further explained why he chose to do the drama, “When I first read the text, I found it very interesting. I am a fan of ‘Kill Me, Heal Me,’ and when I heard that director Kim Jin-Man was directing it, I felt like I wanted to overcome the pressure and take on the challenge, so I decided to try my hand at a historical drama for the first time.”
The Crown Prince has Disappeared is all set to release on April 13, 2024. The Saturday-Sunday drama will air on MBN at 9:40 p.m. KST.
