Episode 8 of Nothing Uncovered aired on KBS2 on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. The previous episode ended with someone making Seo Jung Won (Kim Ha Neul) unconscious. It looked like someone was abducting her. The new episode of the thriller K-drama reveals that murder victim Cha Eun Sae’s brother, Cha Geum Sae (Ko Gun Han), has kidnapped Seo Jung Won.
Nothing Uncovered episode 8 further shows Cha Geum Sae trying to choke Seo Jung Won to death. The latest episode also discloses the identity of Seo Jung Won’s secret informant. It is none other than the youngest journalist in Seo Jung Won’s team at the news channel, Lee Da Reun (Seo Bum June).
Nothing Uncovered episode 8: Kim Ha Neul is kidnapped by Ko Gun Han
Episode 8 of Nothing Uncovered begins right where episode 7 ends. The new episode reveals that it is Cha Eun Sae’s brother, Cha Geum Sae (Ko Gun Han), who is kidnapping Seo Jung Won (Kim Ha Neul). After Jung Won loses consciousness, Cha Geum Sae puts her in his car and takes her to Cha Eun Sae’s office. There, he ties her to a chair. Then he starts interrogating her after she regains consciousness. He believes that she is the culprit behind her sister and Jin Myung Sook’s death.
Cha Geum Sae plans to record Seo Jung Won’s confession to killing Cha Eun Sae and Jin Myung Sook. He wants to do this to make himself clear of the suspicions and accusations. The episode further reveals that Cha Geum Sae is also connected with Assemblyman Mo Hyung Taek, with whom he discussed before kidnapping Seo Jung Won. Cha Geum Sae previously tried to frame Kim Min Chul in his sister’s murder case by planting a false murder weapon in his house.
In the meantime, in Nothing Uncovered episode 8, viewers see Jung Won’s husband, Seol Woo Jae (Jang Seung Jo), and Detective Kim Tae Heon (Yeon Woo Jin) looking for Jung Won after they realize that she has gone missing. After finding her car on the roadside, Detective Kim Tae Heon realizes that Cha Geum Sae may have abducted Jung Won. Thus, he immediately locates Cha Geum Sae and rushes to rescue Jung Won. He arrives at the right time as Cha Geum Sae is about to choke Jung Won. But the detective fights him and saves Jung Won’s life. Then, he and his partner arrest Cha Geum Sae for attempted murder.
Meanwhile, Jung Won’s husband, Seol Woo Jae, also arrives to save Jung Won but sees that the detective has already rescued her. Then, Detective Kim Tae Heon takes Jung Won to the hospital, and Seol Woo Jae follows them. At the hospital, the detective questions Jung Won in front of her husband. It creates an extremely tense moment between the three.
Zeus’ identity is revealed in episode 8
The next day at the hospital, in Nothing Uncovered episode 8, Yoo Yoon Young visits Jung Won. She blackmails her with a photo that shows a trace of blood on Jung Won’s shirt sleeve on the day of Cha Eun Sae’s murder. However, Seol Woo Jae (Jang Seung Jo) appears there at that moment to save his wife from Yoo Yoon Young. He blackmails Yoo Yoon Young back with the fact that she illegally gave him drugs during their therapy sessions.
Seol Woo Jae then goes on to reveal the truth about his past addiction and depression to Jung Won. He also discloses that his addiction began when his first love passed away in an accident. However, he does not reveal which accident he is talking about.
Toward the end of episode 8 of Nothing Uncovered, Jung Won becomes suspicious of the youngest member of her team at the office, Lee Da Reun (Seo Bum June). She has seen his bag at Cha Geum Sae’s place. It is also the bag that Cha Geum Sae took from the crime scene of Jin Myung Sook’s murder. Thus, she goes on to look for him at his house. She sees that he has been living in a dark alley. When Jung Won reaches his home, she realizes that Lee Da Reun is none other than her informant, Zeus. When Lee Da Reun sees Jung Won at his place, he runs away. Jung Won goes after him.
At the end of Nothing Uncovered episode 8, the audience sees Seol Woo Jae deceiving Yoo Yoon Young to collect evidence to save his wife from becoming the prime murder suspect in the Cha Eun Sae murder case. When Yoo Yoon Young finds out about it, she becomes furious and starts lashing out.
