Beauty and Mr. Romantic Episode 6 aired on Sunday, April 7, 2024, on KBS TV. The rom-com drama is already creating quite a buzz among the audience. It is even slowly making its way to the list by garnering viewership ratings. The storyline revolves around a star actress, Park Do-Ra, who faces a slump in her career due to an incident, and a producing director, Ko Pil-Seung, who helps her get back on her feet. In the process, they fall in love.
However, the story is not so simple. Do-Ra (Im Soo-Hyang) and Pil-Seung (Ji Hyun-Woo) have a childhood past only Pil-Seung remembers. Ko Pil-Seung, during his high school days, used to go by the name Ko Chung-Dae. As he changed his name, Do-Ra could not recognize her old friend. Beauty and Mr. Romantic Episode 6: Im Soo-Hyang misunderstands Ji Hyun-Woo’s efforts
After BiBi came to their set and created chaos because of Do-Ra and Bong-Soo’s growing friendship, Pil-Seung helped to maintain the peace. Episode 6 begins with Park Do-Ra in the arms of Ko Pil-Seung after a falling incident. However, when everyone comes to check up on her, they get separated, but soon after, she asks him if he knows someone named Ko Chung-Dae. She further explains that his curly hair and surname make her think of him. But he denies it, saying he doesn’t know anyone of such a name, and nor does his family.
Cut to where Park Do-Ra has to tumble down in her shoot, but her body double hasn’t come in yet. At that time, Ko Pil-Seung (Ji Hyun-Woo) pitches himself to be Park Do-Ra in the sequence. He gives the shot as Do-Ra. Later, Do-Ra comes in to see if he’s okay. Is their friendship blooming into something else?
On the other hand, Pil-Seung’s grandmother finds Do-Ra’s mother to fish out the money she had taken back in the day. She starts to threaten her. During the shooting, Park Do-Ra and Bong-Soo get into another fight. Pil-Seung comes in between them and calms them down. He even gets her tteokbokki to eat and flowers to cheer her up. Is it just for the sake of the project that he is playing both sides or does he feel something for her?
