Popular K-drama Queen of Tears is all set to air a brand new episode 9 on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN. The episode will also be available to stream on Netflix.
The series follows the tumultuous love story of a married couple, chaebol heiress Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won) and her husband Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun). The duo faces a marriage crisis but ultimately resolves it to get their happily ever after.
The trailer for Queen of Tears Episode 9 documents the aftermath of the Queens family’s downfall. After Yoon Eun-Seung and his mother, Mo Seul-Hee, drove the chaebol family out of their conglomerate, they took shelter with Baek Hyun-Woo’s family in Yongduri. The trailer also features Hae-In and Hyun-Woo getting close even after a divorce, potentially rekindling their romance. Moreover, Hyun-Woo also secretly investigates Eun-Seong.
Queen of Tears Episode 9 trailer teases Kim Soo-Hyun, Kim Ji-Won’s closeness amidst family drama
The trailer of the upcoming episode 9 of Queen of Tears begins with Hyun-Woo holding Hae-In’s hand and the two staring intently at each other. Meanwhile, both their families believe that the duo might get back together. Moreover, Hyun-Woo’s sister, Baek Mi-Sun, even asks if the former couple have lingering feelings towards each other. Meanwhile, both their mothers form a close bond.
As Hae-In’s family adapts to living in Yongduri, they adopt different methods to make themselves comfortable. Hae-In’s father, Hong Beom-Jun, drinks traditional sikhye, while her mother, Kim Seon-Hwa, opts for a haircut from Mi-Sun. Meanwhile, Beom-Ja crosses paths with a man in the village about whom she is curious.
Later, Hae-In finds evidence of Hyun-Woo’s love for her, while the latter tends to her when she falls sick. Hae-In thinks, “Was [Baek Hyun-Woo] born to love me?” On the other hand, Yoon Eun-Seong meets with Hae-In’s doctor and potentially learns of her diagnosis. Meanwhile, Hae-In warns Hyun-Woo to avoid family matters as they are no longer together. However, Hyun-Woo remains determined to prove Hae-In and her family as innocent.
Amidst severe opposition from the public against the conglomerate, Hyun-Woo decides to use the same tactic as Eun-Seong to prove the Queens family’s innocence.
