Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri Episode 6 aired on Monday, April 1, 2024 on KBS. Featuring Hahm Eun-Jung and Baek Sung-Hyun in the lead, it’s a daily rom-com K-drama. The storyline follows Jin Soo-Ji (Eun-Jung), a star psychiatrist, and Chae Woo-Ri (Sung-Hyun), a rookie doctor. How love blooms between them and how they try to build a chaotic family is all about the drama.
Jin Soo-Ji deals with a lot of past trauma after her mother left her in childhood. She works doubly hard to maintain her position. On the other hand, Chae Woo-Ri is a passionate rookie doctor who believes in compassion and kindness. Episode 6 shows the relationship dynamics between the two sisters, Soo-Ji and Jin Na-Young (Kang Byul).
Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri Episode 6: Kang Byul hides her fault
Spoilers ahead. Episode 6 opens right from where episode 5 ended with Jin Soo-Ji slapping Na-Young for talking harshly with her and bringing her past. In the meantime, during their fight, Na-Young’s dress tears apart, and a button goes missing. This is the same dress she took from her broadcasting office. Then they return home. As Na-Young’s mother sees her red face, she asks Soo-Ji what happened. When Soo-Ji accepts to slap her sister, Na-Young’s mother slaps her back. This intense interaction leaves everyone stunned in the family.
On the other hand, in the broadcasting office, Chae Doo-Ri, who is in charge of the dressing room, gets blamed for the disputed outfit. As she tries to figure out who can be the person, she meets with Jin Na-Young, who was the last person to leave that room the other day. When she confronts her, Na-Young deliberately hides her fault and runs away from taking any responsibility. This upsets Doo-Ri a lot.
In another scene, Chae Woo-Ri comes to Soo-Ji’s (Hahm Eun-Jung) room at the hospital to ask if she remembers her promise to cover for him. When she says yes, he leaves for his house. However, in the meantime, a woman comes to the hospital with food for Woo-Ri and introduces herself as his mother. But when she learns he’s not in the hospital, she asks to deliver the food to Jin Soo-Ji. At the end of the episode, a scene between Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri’s mother is enough to ignite curiosity among the viewers.
