Why did Chang Yong-Heung Quit Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground?

Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground has officially concluded, with Amotti winning the show title. However, in episode 8, Chang Yong-Heung quits the show.

South Korean reality show Physical: 100 Season 2 is buzzing among viewers and garnering many viewership ratings. The main motto behind Jang Ho-Gi‘s creation is to find the perfect physique in South Korea. The show’s theme revolves around 100 participants from different backgrounds who have to compete with each other. The perfect physique will be selected through rigorous physical and emotional challenges.

Physical: 100 Season 2: Reason behind Chang Yong-Heung’s exit revealed

Yong-Heung is a South Korean rugby sevens player. He participated in Physical: 100 Season 2 and gave a tough fight to all of the other contestants. However, he exits the show before the fourth quest starts in episode 8.

Spoilers ahead. Before the four teams can start their challenge in the fourth quest, the show’s narrator makes a special announcement. The voice declares that Chang Yong-Heung of Andre Jin’s team has withdrawn from the show Physical: 100 – Underground. The reason behind his exit is The Asian Games. As Yong-Heung is the national team captain, he needs to represent the country, South Korea, rather than playing in a reality show. He withdraws from the game to play on the field for Korean rugby. This decision left Andre Jin’s team with only four participants.

Chang Yong-Heung participated in the men’s category at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He even represented his country, South Korea, at the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town, South Africa.

All is well if the end is well. Amotti wins Physical: 100 season 2 – Underground and takes home the hefty prize money as the winner. Have you watched the reality show yet? It is streaming on Netflix.
