Beauty and Mr. Romantic episode 4 aired on March 31, 2024. KBS2‘s ongoing weekend K-drama is already creating a buzz, with only four episodes aired. The drama features Im Soo-Hyang and Ji-Hyun Woo in the lead roles. The storyline revolves around an actress, Park Do-Ra, and a passionate producing director, Ko Pil-Seung. When she faces a rough patch in her career, he helps her get back on her feet. In the process, love blooms between them.
In Episode 4 of Beauty and Mr. Romantic, Park Do-Ra and Pil-Seung meet again as adults years after being childhood companions. However, this time, it is under a chaotic circumstance. As the story unfolds, Do-Ra (Im Soo-Hyang) and Pil-Seung’s (Ji Hyun-Woo) lives will get more intertwined.
Beauty and Mr. Romantic Episode 4: How Im Soo-Hyang and Ji Hyun-Woo interact with each other
Episode 4 begins with an airport sequence where actress Do-Ra (Im Soo-Hyang) appears as she returns from abroad. However, in the meantime, her mother has talked to another production house for her upcoming project, which she doesn’t want to do. She approaches the production company, where she meets Ko Pil-Seung. Even though she doesn’t recognize him, he discovers that she is none other than young Park Do-Ra, who once confessed her feelings for him. Pil-Seung, in his childhood days, would go by the name Ko Dae-Chung. Years have passed, and as they have grown apart, Pil-Seung has tried every possible way to avoid her. But all of his trials have failed.
The latest episode of Beauty and Mr. Romantic shows how the production company begged Do-Ra to say yes to the project. From sending flowers to giving a blank cheque, they have done all these things to cast her as the lead. When she finally says yes, Pil-Seung understands that he has to deal with Do-Ra during this project.
Meanwhile, Ko Pil-Seung’s grandmother sees Do-Ra’s mother at a luxury store. As soon as Pil-Seung’s grandmother confronts Do-Ra’s mother, she denies it and runs away. In this episode, Do-Ra and another actress, Bi Bi, have a showdown at a salon. When Park Do-Ra (Im Soo-Hyang) turned down the role of Straightforward Romance, Bi Bi was offered the role. But once she got back in, Bi Bi was rejected. At the parlor, she takes her anger out on Do-Ra and throws a cup of coffee at her. Soon, things turn ugly as Bi Bi verbally attacks Do-Ra and her mother. They even start fighting when the salon ladies and Do-Ra’s manager intervene to stop them.
Park Do-Ra then plots to get back at Bi Bi by flirting with her crush and Do-Ra’s co-star, Cha Bong-Soo. But in the process, Do-Ra and Pil-Seung start to get along with each other. At a party, when a man disturbs Do-Ra, Ko Pil-Seung comes to the rescue. In a good gesture, when they shake hands, Do-Ra wonders whether they have met each other before. So, does this mean she is starting to remember now?
