tvN’s ongoing K-drama, Queen of Tears, is already garnering a lot of attention from the viewers. Now, a commentary video of the behind-the-scenes from the Germany sequence has been released on their YouTube channel. In the video, Kim Ji-Won talked about how she felt while filming the divorce scene with Kim Soo-Hyun.
The plotline narrates a married couple facing a rough patch in their relationship after 3 years of marriage. Hong Hae-In (Ji-Won) is the cold-hearted wife and the chaebol heiress of the Queens group. On the other hand, Baek Hyun-Woo is her husband and the legal director of the same group (Soo-Hyun). The story unfolds further, focusing on how Hae-In and Hyun-Woo deal with their problems.

In the commentary video, Kim Ji-Won shared how she felt while filming the scene where she learned about Hyun-Woo’s (Kim Soo-Hyun) decision to divorce her. She said, “I was very angry, and I wasn’t happy even when I was filming.” She further added, “I don’t think I can describe it. What can I say, I remember feeling betrayed and feeling really sad when filming that scene. Still, even though we were distant, I think I had faith that Baek Hyun-woo was the only person who would stand by my side when I told him I was going to die. When you found out that it was a lie, didn’t you feel that empty, empty feeling? I think I felt that way while filming.”
Kim Ji-Won further talked about her feelings during the bedroom scene set in Yongduri with Kim Soo-Hyun in Queen of Tears. She explains her disappointment in Baek Hyun-Woo, who runs away before kissing his wife and says, “I wasn’t happy when I was actually filming it. It gets closer and then just goes away. I closed my eyes and didn’t like the weight of the mattress disappearing. I didn’t send the signal first, but the other person approached me.”
