Ahead of the release of tvN’s upcoming K-drama Lovely Runner, the creators have shared a glimpse of the characters. The drama features Byeon Woo-Seok and Kim Hye-Yoon as the leads.
The storyline revolves around Im Sol (Hye-Yoon), an ardent fan of the star Ryu Sun-Jae (Woo-Seok). However, when he faces a tragic end, in a mysterious turn of events, Im Sol travels back in time. She goes 15 years back to when Sun-Jae was just 19 years old and tries every means to save him from his destiny.

In a recent post shared by tvN, viewers get to see the relationship chart between the different characters in the drama. In the first section, it shows Im Sol and Ryu Sun-Jae as lovers. Given the complicating factor, how love will blossom between them is the crux of the plot. The next section points at the bassist Kim Tae-Sung (Song Geon-Hee), who is also Im Sol’s former bias. However, it indicates another perspective on Sun-Jae, Im Sol, and Tae-Sung’s relationship. Next up, it points at Baek In-Hyuk (Lee Seung-Hyub), who leads the band Eclipse. Sun-Jae, In-Hyuk, and Tae-Sung used to play in the same band, and viewers must look forward to their friendship frame.
The relationship chart also introduces the families of the characters in Lovely Runner. It shows Im Sol’s mother, Park Bok-Soon (Jung Young-Joo), who has raised her daughter and son alone for 10 years after losing her husband. Im Sol’s (Kim Hye-Yoon) brother is Im Geum (Song Ji-Ho). Bok-Soon has a strained relationship with Sun-Jae’s father, Ryu Geun-Duk (Kim Won-Hae). It also shows Im Geum’s bond with Im Sol’s best friend. The chart ends with Ryu Sun-Jae’s management company, JNT, and introduces its members.
