MBC recently released the trailer of Wonderful World episode 9. Starring Cha Eun-Woo and Kim Nam-Joo in lead roles, the revenge K-drama currently revolves around Kwon Seon-Yul seeking revenge on Eun Soo-Hyun.
In the previous episode, Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo) discovers that Seon-Yul (Cha Eun-Woo) is the son of Kwon Ji-Woon. For context, Ji-Woon was the man who killed Soo-Hyun’s toddler son in a hit-and-run case. To seek revenge, she killed Ji-Woon and then served jail time. In the present time, Ji-Woon’s son, Seon-Yul, wants to avenge his father’s death. So, he hurts Soon-Hyun emotionally by revealing that her husband cheated on her with her sister.
The Wonderful World episode 9 trailer features Seon-Yul’s revenge plan to destroy Soo-Hyun’s marriage. In turn, this also affects her relationship with her sister.

Wonderful World episode 9 trailer: Cha Eun-Woo threatens Kim Nam-Joo
Wonderful World episode 9 will air on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 9:50 p.m. KST on MBC. It also streams on Disney Plus.
The latest episode trailer begins with a devastated Soo-Hyun crying in her car. She narrates, “I can’t forgive you.” The incident also affects Kang Soo-Ho (Kim Kang-Woo) and Han Yu-Ri (Lim Se-Mi).
Soo-Hyun regrets her decision to accept her husband, Soo-Ho, back into her life. Furthermore, the video shows Soo-Ho confronting Seon-Yul. The latter asks, “Do you have any idea how long I have waited for this moment?,” thus hinting at Soo-Hyun’s current situation. Meanwhile, Soo-Ho also prepares to take down the powerful political man, Kim Joon. While hinting at exposing Kim Joon’s real face, Soo-Ho says, “That will be the day we do it.”
Towards the trailer ending, Soo-Hyun rushes to her mother’s restaurant and sees it in a bad condition. She receives a threatening call from Seon-Yul, who says, “Your mom is with me.” The two meet at a secluded place, where Soo-Hyun gives a befitting reply to him. The video ends with Seon-Yul saying, “If you die here, no one could find out.”
Wonderful World episode 8 recap: Did Kim Nam-Joo’s husband cheat on her with her sister?
Wonderful World episode 8 begins with Soo-Hyun learning the real identity of Seon-Yul. Without letting him know that she knows the truth, Soo-Hyun indirectly warns him. She states that he should not come after her family. Otherwise, she won’t let things go easily.
Despite the warning, Seon-Yul is determined to ruin Soo-Hyun’s life. His revenge plan includes destroying her relationships. Hence, he places a trap for her to let her find out the reality of her husband’s cheating case.
Previously, she discovered that Soo-Ho had slept with their neighbor once. Soo-Hyun forgave her husband at the time. In episode 8, Soo-Hyun finds out that their neighbor is not the woman in the photo. It appears she is the mother of Kim Joon’s child and lives in fear all the time. Hence, Soo-Ho promises to help her, and in return, he asks her a favor to pretend to be the woman in the photo.
Towards the end of the latest episode, a dashcam video reveals that the woman is Soo-Hyun’s sister, Han Yu-Ri. Thus, Seon-Yul not only destroys Soo-Hyun’s marriage but also emotionally attacks Yu-Ri. The aftermath of the incident will be shown in episode 9, premiering on Friday, March 29, 2024.
