The upcoming JTBC K-drama Although I’m Not a Hero follows the story of a man named Bok Gwi-Joo (Jang Ki-Yong). He and his family were born with supernatural powers. Gwi-Joo has the power to travel back in time, but he can only have happy memories of his past. However, he soon gets diagnosed with depression, which begins to erase his memories.
Meanwhile, his family is no different. While they were gifted with a variety of superpowers, they lost them one by one due to modern-day issues like smartphone addiction or other mental health struggles, including insomnia and bulimia. On the brink of losing everything, Gwi-Joo meets a woman named Do Da-Hae (Chun Woo-Hee). Their lives completely change after she begins living with them.
Jang Ki-Yong is well known for his roles in many popular K-dramas, including My Roommate is A Gumiho, Come and Hug Me, Kill It, and several others. Meanwhile, Chun Woo-Hee became popular for her role in the Netflix thriller Unlocked. She also has many successful dramas to her credit, including Be Melodramatic, Prominent Woman, Delightfully Deceitful, and others.
