tvN shares a new teaser video of Lovely Runner featuring Kim Hye-Yoon and Byeon Woo-Seok. The trailer highlights how Hye-Yoon’s character is dedicated to Woo-Seok.
Penned by True Beauty writer Lee Shi-Eun, the drama is based on a popular web novel. The series narrates the story of a young woman, Im Sol (Kim Hye-Yoon), an avid fan of Korean star Ryu Sun-Jae (Byeon Woo-Seok). However, when he dies, in a mysterious turn of events, Im Sol travels back in time to save him. The story slowly unfolds further.
The new trailer video shows Im Sol and Sun-Jae’s first encounter after she travels 15 years back in time when he was just 19 years old. Her first impression didn’t make an impact on him, but she didn’t let go of it either.

tvN dropped a new Lovely Runner teaser trailer where 19-year-old Im Sol and Ryu Sun-Jae are meeting for the first time. Im Sol, who travels 15 years back to save Sun-Jae, introduces herself as “I’m Sol from the future of 2023.” In disbelief, Ryu Sun-Jae (Byeon Woo-Seok) says, “You’re crazy,” and they start arguing with each other throughout the video clip.
However, at the end of the video, Im Sol tries to be more considerate towards her favorite idol and makes him understand. She says, “When you feel like dying, try to endure just one more day. That way, I can go back in time and save you,” piquing the audience’s curiosity more about the drama.
After the conclusion of Wedding Impossible, Lovely Runner is slated to release on April 8, 2024, at 8:50 p.m. KST on tvN. Fans are waiting with bated breath to watch Byeon Woo-Seok and Kim Hye-Yoon’s chemistry in this time-slip rom-com drama.
