SBS‘s drama Flex X Cop, featuring Ahn Bo-Hyun and Park Ji-Hyun in the lead, is stirring up the internet. Now, the drama is in talks to return for a second season.
As the drama is inching towards its conclusion, the audience has been gaga about it. The series narrates the story of an immature but dashing chaebol, Jin Yi-Soo (Ahn Bo-Hyun). Given his wealthy background, he becomes a detectiveand starts to work with Lee Kang-Hyun (Park Ji-Hyun). She is a passionate detective and knows nothing except work. Kang-Hyun is also the first female team leader in the Homicide Department.
The viewers have been loving Ahn Bo-Hyun and Park Ji-Hyun’s chemistry on-screen. They have previously worked together in the drama Yumi’s Cells. The audience loved their camaraderie there, and it seems their friendship is now translating on the episodes of Flex X Cop.
Flex X Cop writer teases Season 2 possibility
Flex X Cop might have started with an average rating of 5.7 percent nationwide, it grew and rose to 11 percent and more. Even though the drama saw a slow start, the audience picked up the pace as the new episodes brought new perspectives to the show.
Now, as per Isplus, the drama’s screenwriter, Kim Ba Da, hinted at the possibility of the drama returning for a second season. He has already started working on the script for season 2. He said, “We are positively discussing Season 2 with main supporting actors such as Ahn Bo-Hyun and Park Ji-Hyun and are coordinating the schedule.”
In addition to Ahn Bo-Hyun and Park Ji-Hyun, the drama also stars Jang Hyun-Seong, Kwak Si-Yang, and Kang Sang-Jun.
Flex X Cop can be streamed on SBS and later on Disney Plus. Season 1 is set to conclude on March 23, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates.
