Starring Kim Nam-Joo and Cha Eun-Woo, Wonderful World episode 5 aired on Disney Plus and MBC on Friday, March 15, 2024. The storyline revolves around two strangers getting involved in each other’s lives because of their past traumas.
In episode 4, Eun Soo-Hyun confronts her husband, Soo-Ho (Kim Kang-Woo), after an anonymous sender sends a photo of him with another woman. Soo-Ho defends himself, claiming that the incident happened in the past when the couple was broken up. Soo-Hyun initially forgives him, but the episode’s ending shows Soo-Ho entering a hotel room. The receiver at the door is their neighbor, Yoon Hye-Geum.
Wonderful World episode 5 begins with Soo-Hyun dropping a text to Soo-Ho, “I know who you’re with right now.” Later, she meets Kwon Seon-Yul (Cha Eun-Woo), who offers to help her find the photo’s anonymous sender. But she declines his help.
Wonderful World episode 5 spoilers: Cha Eun-Woo investigates Kim Nam-Joo’s husband’s case without her permission
In Wonderful World episode 5, Soo-Ho (Kim Kang-Woo) is startled to see his wife’s message. He rushes home and waits for her. When Eun Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo) arrives, she first visits her neighbor and asks if she has sent the photo. After Hye-Geum declines, Soo-Hyun returns home and tells Soo-Ho that she will live with her mother for some time.
She also informs him that the photo’s sender sent her mother a similar envelope. Heartbroken, Soo-Hyun tries to distract herself by working at her mother’s restaurant. One afternoon, she receives a message from Kwon Seon-Yul (Cha Eun-Woo).
Previously, viewers saw Seon-Yul investigating the anonymous sender of the photo. The man is the son of the person Soo-Hyun has killed in the past. However, neither Seon-Yul nor Soo-Hyun know the truth.
In episode 5, Kim Nam-Joo’s character visits Seon-Yul’s workplace for lunch. The latter seems comfortable in her company and thinks of her as his guardian. Therefore, when she is about to leave, he offers her to help in investigating her cheating husband’s case. Despite her rejection, Seon-Yul continues to pursue the case and finds the sender of the photo. His name is Kwon Min-Hyeok (Lim Ji-Sub).
Wonderful World episode 5 ending: Why were Cha Eun-Woo & Kim Nam-Joo shocked to see each other in a hospital ward?
In Wonderful World episode 5, Eun Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo) begins her own investigation to find the anonymous sender. The search brings her attention to an accident case. In order to learn about the victim, she meets a reporter who advises her to stay away from the patient.
After finding out the details, Soo-Hyun looks shocked. She visits the hospital where the patient is. When she looks into the ward, a flashback scene reveals the identity of the patient. She is the wife of the person Soo-Hyun has killed.
On the other hand, Cha Eun-Woo’s Seon-Yul tracks down Kwon Min-Hyeok (Lim Ji-Sub) at a gambling club. While fleeing from the police, Min-Hyeok hurts himself. Seon-Yul helps him run away from the place and brings him to the hospital.
Wonderful World episode 5 ends with Soo-Hyun in the hospital ward of the patient whose husband died because of her. Soo-Hyun appears startled when she sees Seon-Yul entering the ward. The episode ends on a cliffhanger.
