Chicken Nugget, a K-drama, is making quite a buzz online. The comedy-drama has a weird concept and stars Ryu Seung-Ryong, Ahn Jae-Hong, Kim Yoo-Jung, and others. Helmed by Lee Byeong-Heon, the series is based on the webtoon Sweet-and-Sour Chicken by Park Ji-Dok. The plot revolves around a young girl, Choi Min-Ah (Yoo-Jung), who turns into a chicken nugget after a mysterious event.

Yumi’s Cells (2021)
Yumi’s Cells is a weird rom-com that highlights the cells in our body. The story revolves around Kim Yu-Mi (Kim Go-Eun), whose love cells go into a deep coma after a heartbreak. Even though she looks fine from the outside, the surrounding cells of her love cells are trying to rejuvenate them. Things change when she meets with Goo Woong (Ahn Bo-Hyun). He doesn’t know how to express his feelings but wants to try. The series further reveals whether their love cells will be enough to build up their relationship.

W – Two Worlds (2016)
In W, Oh Yeon-Joo (Han Hyo-Joo) enters the world of a webtoon. She falls in love with the lead character, Kang Cheol (Lee Jong-Suk). The story revolves around Yeon-Joo, whose father, a webtoon novelist, goes missing one day. In a turn of events, she gets pulled inside his monitor screen into the world of the webtoon. Extraordinary You (2019)
Adapted from the webtoon July Found by Chance, the storyline of Extraordinary You is similar to W. Starring Rowoon, Lee Jae-Wook, and Kim Hye-Yoon as lead characters – the drama is unique. The female lead of the series, Eun Dan-Oh (Hye-Yoon), is a 17-year-old girl with heart disease. But that’s not it. Soon, she realizes she is not real, lives inside a webtoon, and does anything based on the novelist’s decision. Dan-Oh decides she will write her destiny and go for her love interest. The Uncanny Encounter (2020)
Like Chicken Nugget, The Uncanny Encounter is a drama with a bizarre storyline. The show narrates the story of a group of people who work as demon hunters under the disguise of employees at a noodle shop. They call themselves ‘Counters’ and have special abilities. Do Ha Na (Kim Sejeong) can sense the locations of evil spirits, Ga Mo-Tak (Yoo Joon-Sang) has immense strength, while Chu Mae-Ok (Yeom Hye-Ran) knows how to heal with her powers. However, the story starts when So-Moon (Cho Byeong-Gyu) becomes a part of the Counters after facing an incident in his childhood. The Uncanny Encounter can be streamed on Netflix.
Behind Your Touch (2023)
