The Midnight Studio episode 2 recap: Kwon Na-Ra saves Joo Won from a ghost attack
The Midnight Studio episode 2 begins with Seo Ki-Joo’s (Joo Won) family curse. All the male members in his family live only up to 35 years. Ki-Joo seems paranoid while facing ghost attacks because he has only 110 days left before he turns 35.
Lately, he has been under such attacks multiple times, making him wonder if he will even be alive till 35. In episode 2, Ki-Joo initially assumes Han Bom (Kwon Na-Ra) can also see ghosts. For context, she enters his photo studio, which is only accessible to him and dead people. His suspicion strengthens when she also sees the ghost of a child, the new customer at Ki-Joo’s studio.
A notorious toddler demands a limited edition toy sword as his last wish. While taking care of the kid, he sees Han Bom talking to that child. He asks her if she can also see ghosts. Before things get more complicated, Ki-Joo notices that his customer and the kid with Han Bom are twins. One has died, and the other one is under Han Bom’s legal care. Eventually, Ki-Joo gives up on the idea that Kwon Na-Ra’s character is like him.
After fulfilling the ghost toddler’s wish, his twin tells Han Bom that Ki-Joo helped him to say a final goodbye to his brother. Han Bom misunderstands the situation and claims that Ki-Joo is a bad person. Towards The Midnight Studio episode 2 ending, a group of angry ghosts attack Joo Won.
At the right moment, Han Bom appears and saves him. He notices supernatural energy around them when the two come into contact.
