My Demon Actor Song Kang’s I-Land 2 Role Revealed

Before the military enlistment, Song Kang is going to appear in I-Land 2 as the storyteller. The South Korean actor, last seen in My Demon, received immense appreciation and popularity for his performance.

After the huge success of Mnet’s survival show I-Land, the second installment of the series I-Land 2 is in production. The first season brought the boy band ENHYPEN into prominence. Also, Season 1 was created in collaboration with Hybe. Meanwhile, Season 2 will be the result of a collaboration between YG Entertainment’s producer Teddy and his agency, THEBLACKLABEL.

Furthermore, Namgoong Min presented the first season, and Song Kang will be seen as the storyteller of the second season.

I-Land 2: Song Kang to play a narrator in Mnet’s show

As reported in Sports Kyunghyang, Song Kang is to feature in Mnet’s show I-Land 2. Additionally, the makers dropped a teaser focusing on the collaboration between Mnet and Teddy’s agency, THEBLACKLABEL.

Meanwhile, the South Korean actor expressed his thoughts to Sports Donga (originally in Korean), “I’m happy to be a part of the start of the journey in which a new artist is born as the Storyteller of ‘I-LAND.’” He added, “I will do my best to deliver a new story to viewers.”

Song Kang made his entry into the world of acting in 2017 with tvN’s The Liar and His Lover. However, his characters in two web series, Love Alarm and Sweet Home, brought him acclaim and prominence.

Furthermore, his popularity soared after the release of My Demon. His sizzling chemistry with Kim Yoo-Jung was loved by his audience. Now, the fans can’t wait any longer to see him grace the small screen before he starts his mandatory military service.
