Starring Cha Eun-Woo and Kim Nam-Joo, Wonderful World episode 3 aired on Friday, March 8, 2024, on Disney Plus and MBC. The K-drama revolves around two people suffering similar pain due to their respective traumatic past.
In episode 2, Eun Soo-Hyun comes out of prison after serving six years for killing her son’s killer. She visits her child’s grave where Soo-Hyun meets Gwon Seon-Yul for the first time. Although they cross paths for a brief moment, his kindness leaves her speechless.
Episode 3 begins with Soo-Hyun struggling to live her life without her son. She reunites with her family while trying to find the boy named Seon-Yul her friend from prison had mentioned. For context, the friend went to jail because she had accidentally killed that boy’s family. In the present day, she asks Soo-Hyun to give him a book in which she has written apology letters. Nam-Joo’s character finally finds Seon-Yul, who turns out to be the man whom she met at the graveyard.

In Wonderful World episode 3, Cha Eun-Woo’s Seon-Yul is seen working at a garage and also as a photographer. While searching for him, Kim Nam-Joo’s Soo-Hyun arrives at the garage and tells him the truth about her ex-prisonmate. He gets furious at her for bringing up his traumatic past and refuses to read the apology letters.
Meanwhile, Soo-Hyun’s life takes a turn when she gets back together with her husband Soo-Ho (Kim Kang-Woo). The latter has now become the director of a prestigious media firm. The couple appears together for an interview, where they share their painful experience of losing a child. Although they have painful memories, Soo-Hyun tries to heal her wounds because of Soo-Ho’s love.
Towards the Wonderful World episode 3 end, a mysterious man sends an envelope to Soo-Hyun. When she opens it, she finds a photograph of her husband and a woman. It appears he has cheated on her. The episode ends with a big revelation — the mysterious man appears to be the son of the person Soo-Hyun killed.
In the upcoming episodes, Kim Nam-Joo’s character will try to find out if the real culprit was actually the person she killed or someone closer to her.
