Jeon Yeo-Been, a popular South Korean actress popularly known for her performance in Vincenzo, is returning to the small screen. As reports are rife, she will join a new K-drama with Hyun Bin, who received a lot of appreciation for his portrayal in Crash Landing on You, one of the most-watched K-dramas.
Industry insiders share with JTBC that Yeo-Been will feature in the upcoming K-drama Made in Korea (working title). The series will also star Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-Sung.
The Drug King fame director Woo Min-Ho will direct the series. The series’ storyline will highlight events that created a stir during the turmoil era in the 1970s.
Jeon Yeo-Been’s agency confirms she is reviewing offer
After the reports created a buzz among the audience, Jeon Yeo-Been’s agency hinted at a positive response to the actress’s inclusion in the series. Reacting to the news, MMM Entertainment said, “[Jeon Yeo Been] is positively reviewing [her casting offer].”
Yeo Been was last seen in A Time Called You alongside Ahn Hyo-Seop. She was applauded for her performance in the time-slip drama. Besides that, she is well-known for Vincenzo, Cobweb, and other K-dramas.
Conversely, Jung Woo-Sung has been cast to portray the role of Jang Geon-Young, a prosecutor in the drama known for his animalistic instincts. While we don’t know which character Hyun Bin will play, we hope he responds positively to the casting offer.
Hyun Bin’s performance in Crash Landing on You alongside Son Ye-Jin is still appreciated. The actor was last seen in films like Confidential Assignment 2 and The Point Men.
