ENA’s upcoming K-drama The Midnight Studio is already creating quite a buzz among the viewers. Recently, ENA dropped another teaser, and the series is again trending on top. The series features a stellar star cast, including Joo Won, Kwon Nara, Yoo In-Soo, and Eum Moon-Seok. The Midnight Studio is slated to air on ENA and Genie TV.
The storyline revolves around a photographer, Seo Ki-Joo (Joo Won), who runs a mysterious studio where the customers are dead people. Furthermore, Kwon Nara plays a passionate lawyer, Han Bom, who becomes the legal advisor of the deceased customers in the studio. Additionally, there’s a ghost in the team and a man with telekinetic powers to help run the studio.
The Midnight Studio’s teaser trailer highlights Joo Won, Kwon Nara’s chaotic teamwork
The recently released teaser shows how Joo Won, Kwon Nara, Yoo In-Soo, and Eum Moon-Seok will work as a team. They band together to deal with the dead customers in the studio. The video opens with a grungy, Seo Ki-Joo, who says, “Our hours begin after sunset.” While Manager Ko (In-Soo) is seen in another scene saying, “We have to go whenever a client needs us.”
The Midnight Studio teaser further shows Han Bom (Kwon Nara) trying to make a living out of her profession as a lawyer. While it seems difficult, she says to her grandmother, “Don’t worry. I’m young and pretty,” leaving us to wonder how she will end up in the studio.
Seo Ki-Joo is the photographer of the studio who carries his family’s legacy of clicking deceased people’s pictures to help them pass over. He has 20 years of experience in dealing with ghosts. The teaser further focuses on bizarre encounters between Ki-Joo and Han Bom. The scenes hint at their blossoming friendship as Seo Ki-Joo says, “I need you,” and Han Bom responds, “I’ll be your safe zone.”
The Midnight Studio is premiering on March 11, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST.
