Chief Detective 1958, a prequel K-drama to another well-known series, is titled Chief Inspector. Kim Young-Shin acted as the writer of the Korean series, while Kim Seong-Hoon directed it. Jang Jae-Hoon and Hong Seok-Woo have created the upcoming K-drama. The story of the series is set in between the 1950s and 1960s.
