Branding in Seongsu aired a brand new episode 17 on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 12 a.m. KST on U+Mobile TV. The episode is also available to stream on Viki. The series follows the story of rude team leader Kang Na-On (Kim Ji-Eun) and intern So Eun-Ho (Lomon), who work together at Seongsu Marketing Agency. The two have completely different philosophies. However, they get intertwined with each other when their souls get swapped after an unintentional kiss.
Episode 17 of Branding in Seongsu saw significant drama as Kang Na-On and So Eun-Ho kept switching their souls back mysteriously after regular intervals. During this transition, Na-On kept discovering new aspects about So Eun-Ho plotting a plan with Segye Group director Han Yi-Jae (Park Ki-Duk). Eun-Ho holds many things secret, including his association with the temple that he visits by the end of the episode.
Branding in Seongsu Episode 17: Lomon & Kim Ji-Eun face multiple soul-swap episodes
The latest Branding in Seongsu episode 17 picked up from where the previous episode left off. Just as Kang Na-On went to finalize HQ motors, her soul switched with that of So Eun-Ho. The latter, who now lived in her body, rejected the project with the company and left their office. He reached home only to find Na-On in his body, looking for details of the meeting.
Na-On forced them to kiss, which she thought was the reason for their soul-swap. Meanwhile, Cha Jeong-Woo (Kim Ho-Young) walked in on their conversation, completely flustered at the duo’s interactions. While Na-On was sure that their kiss led to a soul swap, she tried to kiss Eun-Ho. The latter kissed her back to prove it wasn’t true. However, it led to their soul getting swapped again, this time rightfully in their bodies.
The following day, Na-On headed to the office and looked at the project more closely. She realized that director Han Yi-Jae has been managing HQ Motors for years now. Na-On had previously appointed a fellow employee to trail the director’s whereabouts, but she only ended up with blurry pictures. However, she discovered he built a close ally in the company.
Na-On then read a message on her phone from HQ Motors, who asked her whether her decision was final. She remained unaware of Eun-Ho rejecting them while he lived in her body. When she called Eun-Ho to ask about his conversation with them, they experienced a soul swap once again.
Na-On, who now lived inside Eun-Ho’s body, accompanied the underground team to come up with a rebranding plan for the motel. She then handed it over to the team members, putting her faith in them and leaving them emotional.
The underground team decided to leave the motel as it is and give it a new but retro look. They themed it as “a hotel in Seongsu-dong where time stopped,” giving visitors and customers an old-school feel. After helping the team, Na-On left the motel, still living in Eun-Ho’s body. She again read a message from Han Yi-Jae on his phone, asking Eun-Ho to join Segye Group tomorrow.
Na-On failed to understand what Eun-Ho was up to. When she called him to ask, they soul-swapped again into their own bodies. Na-On found herself at a flower store. Apparently, Eun-Ho has brought a bouquet of white flowers to give to someone whom he couldn’t protect. Meanwhile, Eun-Ho, took a cab from the motel, now that he’d returned to his own body. When Na-On confronted Eun-Ho about his actions over a call, he didn’t give out any information.
Previously, Na-On had instructed Eun-Ho to keep their voice recorders activated within their digital watches. Upon listening to the recording, Na-On realized that Eun-Ho had made use of living in her own body to reject the HQ motors project and made her take a break from work. While she went to confront him, Eun-Ho stood with the white flowers in front of Mangyeon temple.
