Flex X Cop is all set to air a brand-new episode 5 on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. The episode will also be available to stream on Disney Plus. The series follows the story of a rude third-generation chaebol heir, Jin Yi-Soo (Ahn Bo-Hyun), who becomes a cop overnight after an absurd incident. Soon, he crosses paths with team leader Lee Kang-Hyun (Park Ji-Hyun) and the Homicide Department. Together, they solve a variety of cases.
Episode 5 of Flex X Cop promises an engaging journey for its viewers if the newly released photos are anything to go by. Although Jin Yi-Soo became a cop and detective overnight, he wasn’t initially ready to immerse himself in the job. However, as he continued solving cases, he became a detective and started helping the team in multiple cases.
Flex X Cop Episode 5 photos: Ahn Bo-Hyun becomes a full-fledged detective
On the day of the much-awaited Flex X Cop weekly episode release, SBS shared a few pictures of the lead actor Ahn Bo-Hyun essaying the role of Jin Yi-Soo, a chaebol turned detective. Initially, Yi-Soo wasn’t too keen on working with the Homicide Department, given the circumstances in which he had to join the team. However, the recent photos reveal that he is more than ready to work on his next cases as a transformed detective.
In the photos, Yi-Soo sports a formal look, with a suit and black-rimmed glasses. He is on a phone call, looking elegant as compared to his previously flashy looks. When he was still in the process of transitioning from being a chaebol to a detective, he wore bright colors and outfits that screamed his luxurious background. In the newly released photos, Yi-Soo looks more in tune with the detective team, choosing a suit, tie, and glasses, leaving his glimmering chaebol world behind.
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode 5 will feature Yi-Soo continuing his investigation into the famous painter’s murder. The previous episode saw him lay his suspicions on the painter’s assistant. However, there are still other people involved who could potentially be the murderer. These include the painter’s wife, her boyfriend, and the gallery director of the mother of a teenage girl, who died due to the painter’s actions.
