Lee Ji-Hoon and Jung In-Sun star in the highly anticipated South Korean drama Grand Shining Hotel. The fantasy horror K-drama revolves around the two lead characters trapped inside a horror novel.
The series is part of TVING and tvN’s short drama project, O’PENing, which provides a platform for naive writers to showcase their talent. Director Myung Hyun-Woo and writer Park Se-Hyeon will show off their work to horror story fans through the Grand Shining Hotel.
According to My DramaList, the official synopsis of the upcoming drama reads, “A fantasy story about a man who accidentally gets drawn into a fictional world inside of a horror novel.”

The K-drama “Grand Shining Hotel” features characters who are trapped in a horror novel. The storyline also includes a serial killer and a cop who tracks the novel’s creator.
Furthermore, the main cast features Lee Ji-Hoon as Song Woo-Bin, Jung In-Sun as Yoo Ah-Young, Kim Jae-Kyung as Park Hyun-Joo, and Jung Jin-Woon as Moon Myung-Hwan.
Lee Ji-Hoon Woo-Bin is the owner of a successful publishing company. A mysterious author invites Woo-Bin to examine his novel, but the latter gets trapped inside it. Jung In-Sun’s Yoo Ah-Young has a crush on her boss Woo-Bin. She also enters the novel where she puts her life on the life to save him.
Kim Jae-Kyung’s Park Hyun-Joo is a serial killer who uses her beauty to attract victims. Jung Jin-Woon’s Moon Myung-Hwan has an obsession with Yoo Ah-Young. Moreover, He is a cop who makes the novel’s story complex by adding his own layer. He begins to track the writer.
