Netflix released a new trailer of its upcoming comedy Chicken Nugget. Starring Kim Yoo-Jung, Ryu Seung-Ryong, and Ahn Jae-Hong in lead roles, the series will be released on Friday, March 15, 2024, on Netflix. The drama follows the story of a young woman who mysteriously turns into a chicken nugget. Given its stellar cast and intriguing storyline, it is one of the most anticipated K-dramas of the year.
The newly released teaser trailer of Chicken Nugget gives viewers a glimpse of the broader storyline. A beautiful girl, Choi Min-Ah (Kim Yoo-Jung), turns into a chicken nugget after entering a mysterious machine. The story then revolves around her father, Choi Seon-Man (Ryu Seung-Ryong), and intern Ko Baek-Jeong (Ahn Jae-Hong) trying to find her in pieces of chicken nuggets.

As per Netflix, Chicken Nugget has been described as a “crispy fried comedy fresh out of the fryer.” The trailer shows a fun interaction between store owner Choi Seon-Man and intern Ko Baek-Jeong about the latter’s pants. However, their life turns upside down due to the owner’s daughter, Choi Min-Ah, who discovers a secret cabinet and enters it. As soon as she enters, she sees a protruding button and screams, “Look, a chicken nugget.”
The cabinet blows up, and Seon-Man and Baek-Jeong scream, terrified for Min-Ah. However, they soon open the cabinet to realize that Min-Ah has transformed into a chicken nugget. They look for Min-Ah in the packed chicken nuggets and even leave a note informing people of the same. Jung Ho-Yeon, who plays a guest role in the series, assures Seon-Man that his daughter hasn’t turned into a chicken nugget.
Meanwhile, Seon-Man and Baek-Jeong desperately try to ensure that the chicken nugget they discovered inside the cabinet will transform back into Min-Ah. Moreover, the two endure a rough battle in their journey, discovering dark secrets along the way.

As mentioned earlier, Chicken Nugget will stream exclusively on Netflix, starting its premiere episode on Friday, March 15, 2024. Director Lee Byeong-Heon, who is known for Extreme Job, Dream, and Be Melodramatic, helms the series. As per IMDb, the series will have all of the 12 episodes out on its release date.
The cast includes Kim Yoo-Jung (My Demon), Ryu Seung-Ryong (Kingdom), and Ahn Jae-Hong (Fight For My Way). Other cast members include Kim Nam-Hee, Yang Hyun-Min, and Lee Ha-Neui, among others.
