KBS recently shared the Love Song for Illusion episode 13 trailer. Starring Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji, the fantasy romance K-drama currently revolves around a king and his alter person joining hands to save their lover and their kingdom.
In episode 12 ending, King Sajo Hyeong recovers from paralysis. When Yeon Wol comes running to him and hugs him, he asks who she is. The trailer of Love Song for Illusion episode 13 hints at Sajo Hyeong’s memory loss. It appears Ak-Hee is still not injured in his subconscious mind and that the King has lost his memory.

Love Song for Illusion episode 13 trailer: Park Ji-Hoon doesn’t remember Hong Ye-Ji
The Love Song for Illusion episode 13 trailer begins with Park Ji-Hoon’s Sajo Hyeong asking Yeon Wol, “What is your name, young lady?” It shows her leaving his hand as she narrates, “I had to leave your side anyway. It is better for him not to know who I am.”
The next scene shows Hwang Hee’s Sajo Yung asking shaman Cheong Ta about Ak-Hee. The latter informs that the alter personality might have perished, leaving Sajo Yung thrilled. Meanwhile, Sajo Hyeong seems confused about his feelings towards Yeon Wol. He fails to understand why his heart races when he sees her.
Queen Geum-Hwa drops a bomb in the trailer as she reveals she is pregnant. The father is Sajo Hyeong’s guard, who is currently in prison. For context, she took advantage of him and got pregnant. She plans to lie about her child’s father.
The trailer ends with Hong Ye-Ji’s Yeon Wol hugging Sajo Hyeong. She asks, “Could I hug you once, your Majesty?” While she hugs him tight, she calls for Ak-Hee to summon her in his subconscious mind.
