The trailer for the upcoming tvN K-drama Queen of Tears begins with Hong Hae-In promising Baek Hyun-Woo never to make him cry. The duo get married, with Hyun-Woo calling it “marriage of the century.” Meanwhile, Hyun-Woo reveals the wedding with Hae-In, the chaebol heiress of one of the largest conglomerate groups in the country, Queens Group.
People call Hae-In the “queen” of Queens Group’s department stores. Meanwhile, Hyun-Woo works as the legal director of the conglomerate group. The duo spends a happy married life, going on dates and spending their honeymoon. However, the trailer soon shifts to a more intense storyline. Hyun-Woo wishes her on their wedding anniversary, but Hae-In couldn’t care less.
The trailer then focuses on the couple’s tumultuous married life. Hyun-Woo tries to get close to Hae-In, but she always rejects his advances. He recalls getting married because he fell in love, but Hyun-Woo doesn’t feel the same anymore. The two continue to drift apart when Hyun-Woo finally thinks of getting a divorce.
