Starring Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji, the Love Song for Illusion episode 12 release date has been postponed. The episode was supposed to air on February 12, 2024, on KBS and Viki but now it has a new release date.
Earlier, we mentioned in our previous article that episode 12 would air on Monday. However, the latest update stated that it will broadcast on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
The fantasy romance drama revolves around an unfortunate king named Sajo Hyeong (Park Ji-hoon). Due to past trauma, he developed an altered personality called Ak-Hee. They have always been each other’s enemies, and things get worse when Kyera/Yeon-Wol (Hong Ye-ji) enters their lives. In episode 11, Sajo Hyeong and Ak-Hee join forces to save the kingdom.
Love Song for Illusion: Why is episode 12 not airing on Monday?
KBS announced on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, that Love Song for Illusion episode 12 will not air on Monday, February 12, 2024. Hence, the new release date is Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 10:10 p.m. KST on KBS. It also streams on Viki.
The network has not revealed the reason but it may have been postponed because of the Korean New Year (Seollal). This year, it falls on Saturday, February 10, 2024; however, a report suggests that Monday is a “make-up holiday.”
Viewers may get only one episode of Love Song for Illusion next week. According to the episode 12 trailer, Park Ji-Hoon’s Sajo Hyeong returns to his body while Ak-Hee is wounded and returns to their subconscious world. Queen Geum-Hwa plans to take advantage of this opportunity to get pregnant with Sajo Hyeong’s child.
Meanwhile, the king’s throne is in danger as Sajo Yung comes out of jail. The trailer also shows Hong Ye-Ji’s Yeon Wol making desperate efforts to save King Sajo Hyeong.
