A Shop for Killers episode 7: Lee Dong-Wook plans to seek revenge on Bale
A Shop for Killers episode 7 showcased Jeong Jin-Man’s life after Bale’s return. In the previous episode, Jin-Man presumed that Bale had died. However, the latter returned only to seek revenge on Jin-Man with the rest of the Babylon team, including Seong-Jo. The episode began with Jin-Man asking his friend and arms dealer, Honda, to take care of Min-Hye. Jin-Man rescued Min-Hye when he undertook his final mission.
The story then shifted back to when Jin-Man reunited with his family. Eventually, his mother fell sick and was admitted to the hospital. She asked him to make things right with his brother and spend more time with his niece, Jeong Ji-An. After leaving the hospital, he met with Honda and reunited with Min-Hye, who welcomed him with an embrace. Honda asked Jin-Man to join him and make a shopping mall for the weapons. Moreover, Honda also mentioned that Min-Hye was able to assemble the gun without his help.
Meanwhile, Bale sprung into action after his return. He secretly entered the hospital room and strangled Jin-Man’s mother to death. He secretly escaped the hospital, aiming for his next target. The team discussed plans for their attack on the rest of Jin-Man’s family when Jungcheol resisted. However, Seong-Jo blackmailed him into joining the operation. Jin-Man and his brother got into an argument at their mother’s funeral when the former asked for an autopsy to be done. He found it suspicious that his mother passed away suddenly.
However, Jin-Man’s brother didn’t accept. His sister-in-law asked Jin-Man to stay with Ji-An at their house while they complete the funeral. As soon as Jin-Man left with Ji-An, Seong-Jo entered the funeral hall. He introduced himself as Jin-Man’s friend and took Ji-An’s parents into the basement as an excuse to bring the wreaths. There, Bale and Seong-Jo murdered the two. They made it look like Jin-Man’s brother killed his wife for having an affair before killing himself.
Meanwhile, Jungcheol informed Jin-Man about Bale being alive and targeting his family. He asked Honda to take care of Ji-An before leaving to protect his family. Although Honda tried, Seong-Jo and his men killed him. On the other hand, other men attacked Jin-Man, but he managed to escape. Two other men entered Honda’s secret basement to capture Min-Hye. However, the latter managed to escape and kill the men using her skills.
Pasin found an injured Jin-Man in his home and rescued him. Jin-Man asked him to lend him a gun, while Pasin wondered why Jin-Man tried to kill Bale. The latter revealed that he felt guilty about not testifying against Bale during the first mission and allowed the latter to kill more civilians. Pasin then handed him a gun and left. General Lee Yong-Han then assured Bale that he would take action against Jin-Man.
Later that night, Ji-An escaped from the hospital room after sensing danger. She hid herself in a mortuary room beside her mother’s dead body. As the men tried to attack her, Jin-Man rescued his niece just in time. While leaving, he saw Bale outside the room. The two exchanged glances before Jin-Man escaped. Meanwhile, Jin-Man visited the General’s house. He threatened to kill Yong-Han’s family if they continued to attack him.
Jin-Man expressed that he had already been punished enough after losing his family members and one of his closest friends. Yong-Han called Bale to ask if he could stop. The latter only laughed. By the end of the episode, Jin-Man told Pasin how he knew even if Babylon stopped their attacks, Bale won’t. He decided to hatch a long-term plan.
Jin-Man then built his house and planned the shopping mall. He rescued Honda’s sibling, “Brother,” asking him to live together. He let Pasin bring Min-Hye back and train her well. Jin-Man entrusted Brother with taking care of the shopping mall. In the end, he began to teach Ji-An how to shoot a gun.
