Thus, she continues to lash out at Samuel and blames him for ruining their relationship and marriage. At that moment, Samuel loses his calm and reveals he knows what she did two years ago.
Then, the LTNS episode 6 showcases that one night, after having a heated argument with Samuel, Woo Jin leaves their place and contacts another man, who seems to be one of her ex-boyfriends. Soon, the two meet at a hotel and engage in intimate activities. Thus, it is disclosed that Woo Jin has cheated on her husband, Samuel. Episode 6 of LTNS then jumps to seven months later. Samuel and Woo Jin are now a divorced couple and have been living in separate places. They both feel sad and lonely after their heartbreaking divorce. It seems like both of them still have feelings for one another.
Samuel lives with her father, while Woo Jin lives in another apartment. After their divorce, they meet for the first time to sell their old apartment. After seeing each other, Woo Jin tells Samuel that she has something to say to him. They go to a restaurant, where Woo Jin gets extremely emotional and apologizes to Samuel for her behavior and issues in their marriage.
Woo Jin breaks down in front of Samuel, who also starts shedding tears. He also apologizes to her for his mistakes. The sixth episode of LTNS then jumps to the day of Christmas Eve. Woo Jin is spending the day alone at home. Suddenly, Samuel visits her, and they start spending time together while having drinks. They soon begin feeling the spark between them and start making love. The episode ends right there.
