KBS recently shared the Love Song for Illusion Episode 10 trailer, featuring Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji. The K-drama tells the story of a king and his alter personality falling for a woman.
In episode 9, Sajo Hyeon’s dual personality, Ak-Hee, refused to come out after Yeon Wol broke his heart. The episode ended with the lead pair sharing an emotional, intimate moment after surviving Sajo Yung’s (Hwang Hee) attack.
The Love Song for Illusion Episode 10 trailer shows King Sajo Hyeong trying to find evidence against Sajo Yung. To defeat the king, the latter plans to summon Ak-Hee and get rid of Sajo Hyeong for good.

Love Song for Illusion Episode 10 trailer: Hwang Hee will use Hong Ye-Ji to lure out Park Ji-Hoon’s Ak-Hee
Love Song for Illusion Episode 10 trailer begins with Park Ji-Hoon’s Sajo Hyeon confronting Sajo Yung about women’s trafficking. The King knows that his half-brother is behind the crime but has no evidence to prove it and punish him.
The confrontation seems to be intense, leading to Sajo Yung asking, “Could you be talking about what the late King did?” For context, Sajo Hyeong’s father was a corrupted king.
The trailer further shows a rumor spreading in the kingdom, indicating it may be related to Sajo Hyeong’s altered personality. Fearing the after-effects, the Head Minister advises his daughter, the Queen, to get pregnant with King Sajo Hyeong’s child as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Hwang Hee’s Sajo Yung torments shaman Cheong-Ta to summon Ak-Hee and lock away Sajo Hyeong. The shaman gives a solution as she says, “If there comes a moment even His Majesty cannot save Yeon Wol, he [Ak-Hee] might force his way out.”
The trailer ends with Yeon Wol’s maid at the palace hugging her and apologizing, adding curiosity about the maid’s intentions. It seems Sajo Yung will use Yeon Wol (Hong Ye-Ji) to lure out Ak-Hee.
Love Song for Illusion Episode 10 will air on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 10.10 p.m. KST on KBS. It also streams on Viki.
