My Happy Ending Episode 10: Jae-Won’s (Jang Na-Ra) husband is dead
The tenth episode of My Happy Ending opens with a shocking revelation. A group of police officers are seen investigating a car, which is a crime scene. The episode then reveals that it is none other than Jae-Won’s (Jang Na-Ra) husband’s car. The police officers then discuss that Heo Soon-Young (Son Ho-Jun) has died due to poisoning. They realize that it is a murder after they find strap marks on the victim’s hand.
My Happy Ending episode 10 then displays Jae-Won waking up in a hotel room. It seems like she has been unconscious the entire night. She has several missed calls on her phone. Before she can understand anything, she hears a heavy knocking on the door. When she opens the door, the police officers enter and arrest her on the charges of murdering her husband, Soon-Young. Jae-Won is in utter shock and disbelief. When the police take Jae-Won to see her husband’s dead body, she completely breaks down.
Thereafter, the police start asking her different questions regarding the murder. However, Jae-Won is unable to answer any of them as she has lost her memory from last night. Her attorney arrives at the police station. After seeing the entire situation, the attorney also realizes that the case has gotten quite complicated and may pose great difficulty for Jae-Won. Meanwhile, the board members of Jae-Won’s company, including Yoon-Jin’s father, Kwon Young-Ik, hold a meeting where they discuss that Jae-Won should step down from her position for the company’s sake.
Later on, in episode 10 of My Happy Ending, the police release Jae-Won from prison due to lack of evidence. Yoon Te-Oh arrives to take her from there. He then drops her off at her father’s house, where her daughter is currently living. Jae-Won feels empty inside. She watches her daughter looking for her father, and Jae-Won’s heart breaks even more. The next morning, Jae-Won goes to the sea. She starts thinking about what her mother did to her back in her childhood days. Jae-Won still feels all the trauma from that incident. She then goes deep into the sea.
Being unable to find Jae-Won at her father’s place, Te-Oh rushes to the seaside and finds Je-Won standing in deep water. He runs behind her and takes her to the shore. He is quite upset with Jae-Won as he believes that she is trying to end her life. Towards the end of the My Happy Ending episode, Jae-Won meets Law Professor Lee Nam-Cheol. He gives Jae-Won the pen drive Jae-Won’s husband has left behind. Through the audio clip inside the pen drive, Jae-Won finds out about the involvement of Yoon-Jin in the accident of Baek Seung-Gyu.
Episode 10 of My Happy Ending ends with another shocking revelation. It turns out that Jae-Won has not been seeing Psychiatrist Jo Su-Gyeong all these years. She sees her only in her imagination. Te-Oh finds out about it. Thus, it may be the reason why her mental illness has become extremely severe over the years.
