Network tvN shared the Captivating the King episode 3 trailer, starring Jo Jung-Suk and Shin Sae-Kyung. The historical K-drama tells the story of a misunderstood prince and a baduk player.
In episode 2, Prince Lee In met Kang Hee-Soo who disguises herself as a male baduk player. They formed a connection because of the game. After their first match, he named the player Mongwoo, which means drizzle, and they promised to play their next game on the first drizzle of rain.
When they met again, Hee-Soo’s identity was in jeopardy because of Kim Myung-Ha (Lee Shin-Young). The teaser trailer for Captivating the King episode 3 shows Lee In being jealous of Hee-Soo and Myung-Ha.

Captivating the King episode 3 trailer focuses on Jo Jung-suk’s feelings
Captivating the King episode 2 ended with Hee-Soo left worried when she saw Myung-Ha. The latter found out that she was disguised as a man. For context, he is the Queen’s nephew and desires to marry Hee-Soo despite her continuous rejection.
Hence, when he approached Hee-Soo/Mongwoo in front of Prince Lee In, it appeared as if they were close friends. The trailer for the upcoming episode 3 begins with Jo Jung-Suk‘s character getting jealous of Myung-Ha and Mongwoo’s closeness.
In the clip, he talks to himself, complaining about Mongwoo and how the baduk player harshly talks to him while playing but acts the opposite with Myung-Ha. Lee In further looks disappointed, thinking that whatever Mongwoo hides from him must tell Myung-Ha. He feels jealous, assuming that the Queen’s nephew must know the player’s real name, but he doesn’t.
The previous trailer showed Mongwoo getting arrested because of his closeness with the prince.
