After A Good Day To Be a Dog, Cha Eun-Woo returns to the MBC network with a new drama, Wonderful World. Also starring Kim Nam-Joo in the lead role, the K-drama is an emotional thriller involving the characters’ painful past.
Nam-Joo plays Eun Soo-Hyun, a psychological professor and author whose life turns upside down after her son’s death. When the culprit manages to roam free, she decides to seek revenge. During the mission, she meets Eun-Woo’s Kwon Sun-Yool, a medical school dropout.
The latest Wonderful World trailer features the lead characters harboring painful pasts.

Wonderful World trailer teases Cha Eun-Woo & Kim Nam-Joo enduring pain of their past
The Wonderful World trailer begins with Kim Nam-Joo’s Eun Soo-Hyun’s painful gaze, followed by flashbacks of her traumatic past incident. At a fast pace, the video shows a house burning, Soo-Hyun laughing in pain, and her son dying.
She narrates, “It all started with the case from that day.” With a cry of agony, she asks, “You don’t think I’m horrible?” Between her scenes, Cha Eun-Woo’s Kwon Sun-Yool is introduced. He is heard saying, “Does it look like I’m living well? Do you know when humans are the most in pain?”
The ASTRO member’s character adds curiosity to the storyline. The trailer further introduces Kim Kang-Woo and Im Se-Mi as Kang Soo-Ho and Han Yoo-Ri, respectively. They seem to add tension to the plot. The Wonderful World trailer ends with Sun-Yool holding an umbrella over Soo-Hyun on a rainy day.
Cha Eun-Woo’s upcoming K-drama will premiere on March 1, 2024, on MBC at 9.50 p.m. KST. It will air twice a week on Fridays and Saturdays. Wonderful World will take the slot of the ongoing K-drama Knight Flower, starring Lee Hanee and Lee Jong-Won.
