Netflix has recently confirmed that the popular Korean dating reality series Single’s Inferno season 4 will return. On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, the platform announced that the dating show’s upcoming season will see a new set of singles. Single’s Inferno features the hottest singles, both men and women, who gather on a deserted island to find love and a potential match to leave with. The series has already aired three successful seasons.
The news of Single’s Inferno season 4 comes just a few weeks after the third season came to an end. The series only grew popular with each season, documenting many successful couples on the show. As per Netflix, Single’s Inferno became the first Netflix Korea unscripted series to be renewed for a fourth season. The renewal only raises viewers’ expectations about the format and the contestants for the new installment.
Korean dating series Single’s Inferno season 4: Is there a release date?
Single’s Inferno has earned recognition over its past three seasons. As of now, there hasn’t been a release date for the fourth season. Unless the producers develop a new timeline, Single’s Inferno season 4 should air sometime in December 2024. All the previous seasons have aired by the end of the year.
The Korean dating series recently concluded an 11-episode run for season 3 on January 9, 2024. The latest season served many interesting twists and turns, including two Infernos instead of one. Over time, the cast members participated in various challenges and spent time with their match in Paradise. As per Netflix’s report, season 3 received more laurels than its past two seasons. It secured one of the top places in the Global Top 10 list (Non-English) from start to finish and even earned a spot in the Top 10 list in 31 countries.
In a statement to Netflix, Kim Jae-Won said, “We will continue to do our best and make sure Season 4 is even more entertaining for you by paying closer attention to the fans’ feedback on Season 3, both positive and negative.”
Season 3 of Single’s Inferno ended with four couples: Lee Gwan-Hee and Choi Hye-Seon, Choi Min-woo and Yu Si-eun, Lee Jin-seok and An Min Young, and Park Min-kyu and Kim Gyu-ri. Currently, Gwan-Hee and Hye-Seon and Jin-Seok and Min-Young confirmed that they are not together anymore. Meanwhile, the fate of the rest of the couples remains unknown. However, all the cast members gained a vast social media following.
