Episode 5 of Transit Love (EXchange) Season 3 aired on TVING on Friday, January 19, 2024. Episode 5 of Transit Love (EXchange) Season 3 begins with Cho Hwi Hyun and Lee Yu Jung’s date. They go on their first date to Korea University. The two seem to be extremely comfortable with each other from the very beginning of their date. Two of them also seem to have similar personalities. They roam around the university, talking to each other freely and having some good food. Cho Hwi Hyun mentions his ex-lover in between his and Lee Yu Jung’s conversations during the date. But the two mostly focus on themselves. Overall, their date is fun and feel-good to watch.
The Transit Love (EXchange) Season 3 Episode 5 then showcases what has been going on in the house after all the participants return from their respective dates. Seo Dong Jin seems to be ignoring his ex-girlfriend, Song Da Hye. Lee Hye Won is seen to be struggling with her emotional feelings for her ex-boyfriend, Cho Hwi Hyun, who now seems to be trying to move on from her. However, his feelings for Lee Hye Won are still not clear, as he still seems to care for her.
Later on, a new letter arrives at the ex-lovers’ house, which tells them that it is time to reveal their respective occupations. They all try to guess each other’s occupation before they finally reveal it. Some of their occupations turned out to be what most of them expected, but as for some other participants, their occupations shocked the others.
As shown in Transit Love (EXchange) Season 3 Episode 5, Lee Ju Won is a music producer. Lee Yu Jung is a fashion and beauty commercial model. Kim Kwang Tae is a sales manager for imported food. Lee Seo Kyung is a dental hygienist. Cho Hwi Hyun is a student at the School of Media and Communication at Korea University. Song Da Hye is a former idol singer and member of the girl band BESTie. Lee Hye Won is preparing to work in retail for an international fashion brand. And finally, Seo Dong Jin is a CEO of a food manufacturer.
At the end of Episode 5 of Transit Love (EXchange) Season 3, another ex-couple is revealed. It is Lee Ju Won and Lee Seo Kyung. The episode also discloses that the two have broken up not too long ago. Thus, both of them have unresolved feelings for one another. The two of them have an intense conversation. Then, the episode ends with Lee Seo Kyung cutting the ribbon, which symbolizes their relationship thread, and Lee Ju Won not cutting the ribbon.
