Popular K-drama Welcome to Samdalri is all set to air a brand new episode on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC and Netflix. The series follows the story of childhood best friends turned ex-lovers Cho Yong-Phil (Ji Chang-Wook) and Cho Sam-Dal (Shin Hye-Sun). The two reunite eight years after their heartbreaking split and eventually rekindle their relationship. They also let go of past trauma and started afresh with their families.

Welcome to Samdalri Episode 15 trailer teases a final showdown ahead of the finale
The upcoming episode of Welcome to Samdalri will document Cho Sam-Dal and Yong-Phil facing yet another obstacle. This time, however, it won’t be about their relationship. In the previous episode, Yong-Phil’s father Cho Sang-Tae finally accepted their relationship after a lot of convincing. He realized that the two were meant for each other. Sang-Tae finally let go of all his past trauma regarding the death of his wife Bu Mi-Ja to accept them.
When all seems well in Sam-Dal and Yong-Phil’s world, another obstacle presents itself. Sam-Dal’s ex-assistant Bang Eun-Ju discovers that the former has been selected for an exhibition in Jeju. The previous episode ended with Eun-Ju contacting a reporter, potentially repeating her false accusations about Sam-Dal. This leaves Sam-Dal in a tough spot and possibly jeopardizing the first project she earned ever since she returned to her hometown.
In the trailer, reporters throng the town and the weather forecasting station after the reporter writes Eun-Ju’s accusation about Sam-Dal. The organizers then cancelled Sam-Dal’s exhibition. Meanwhile, her friends discover Eun-Ju’s alternate account which gives them adequate information to go against the levied accusations. Moreover, Sam-Dal’s ex-boyfriend, who is now in a relationship with Eun-Ju, parts away from her. He also seeks Sam-Dal’s apology.
Sam-Dal’s elder sister Jin-Dal and her ex-husband Jeon Dae-Young get into an argument when the latter confesses his love. The trailer ends with Yong-Phil advising Sam-Dal to hold her exhibition in their town itself. The two decide to not give up on Sam-Dal’s dream.
