MBC recently shared the Knight Flower episode 1 trailer ahead of its premiere. Starring Lee Ha-Nee and Lee Jong-Won, the new K-drama revolves around a widow who lives a different life during the night. Previously, the title was Flower That Blooms at Night.
Je Yeo-Hwa has been living as a widow for 15 years after her husband died on their wedding day. She belongs to a prestigious noble family in Joseon. While she is the responsible daughter-in-law during the day, she turns into a masked hero at night. Yeo-Hwa jumps off her house’s wall every day, wearing different clothes and a mask.
She lives her double life without any trouble until the Forbidden Guard Division officer Park Soo-Ho enters her life. The attractive, intelligent person bumps into Yeo-Hwa every time she is outside at night. The latest trailer shows her dreaming of falling into his arms and facing the consequences of such sinful thoughts in sleep.

Knight Flower Episode 1 begins with Lee Ha-Nee’s Yeo-Hwa struggling to live as a widow in her in-laws’ house. She seems unhappy with the lifestyle. The feeling is compared to jumping off a cliff in the video.
She dreams that she is on the edge of a cliff. When she backs off from jumping off the cliff, people around her push Yeo-Hwa. Suddenly, a man holds her hand and pulls her back into his arms. After a romantic gaze into each other’s eyes, she pushes him back. She sees her hands, which touched him, start to disappear. Yeo-Hwa wakes up and realizes that she had a sinful dream.
The man in her dream is Soo-Ho (Lee Jong-Won).

Knight Flower Episode 1 will premiere on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 9.50 p.m. KST on MBC. The K-drama will also stream on Viki.
Airing twice a week, the series takes the slot of The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, which ended last week.
