Upcoming JTBC K-drama Queen of Divorce released a brand-new poster featuring the lead actors Lee Ji-Ah and Kang Ki-Young’s characters. The duo shines bright as divorce specialists in the poster for the series, which will premiere on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 8:50 p.m. KST. The drama follows the story of these two lawyers, who bravely tackle divorce cases and bring justice by dealing with bad spouses.
Queen of Divorce features Sara Kim (Lee Ji-Ah), termed as Korea’s greatest problem solver. She collaborates with an unusual lawyer, Dong Ki-Joon (Kang Ki-Young), to bring justice to individuals going through bad divorces. They provide effective solutions to deal with bad spouses. Meanwhile, the poster further reads, “Welcome, is this your first time being a divorcee?”
The top of the poster helms the name of the drama and describes the duo’s characters. It reads, “Specialized in punishing vicious spouses.” The two join hands to battle the most arrogant spousal partners and tackle a variety of divorce cases head-on.
Lee Ji-Ah’s Sara Kim is the team leader of the divorce settlement company, Solution. She was previously the daughter-in-law of the best law firm family in Korea. However, she loses her family after her husband betrays her. But that doesn’t deter her as she goes on to become a divorce solver who provides justice to individuals who have a story like hers. Sara Kim gives them customized solutions and punishes evil spouses.
Meanwhile, Dong Ki-Joon accompanies Sara Kim as the company’s advisory counsel as well as her business partner. He is quirky but extremely intelligent. Ki-Joon has established his presence in the company and showcased a high level of smartness that has earned him the name “Eastern District Shepherd.” His story comes to light when he suddenly steps down from his position. Viewers will have to wait and see how their collaboration unfolds.
