Tell Me That You Love Me Episode 12: Shin Hyun-Been Feels Lonely and Heartbroken
Tell Me That You Love Me episode 12 begins with Shin Hyun-Been’s Mo-Eun going down memory lane when she was just a child. It triggers some painful memories of her childhood, like the day she found out that Na Ae-Sook is not her birth mother. She realizes how a memory can turn into a bitter one due to different circumstances in life. She also starts to understand that it is hard to get away from one’s past.
The Tell Me That You Love Me episode then returns to the present, where Jin-Woo and Mo-Eun sit outside the art gallery. Soon, Mo-Eun tells Jin-Woo that they should get back inside as Jin-Woo’s solo art exhibition is still going on. In the gallery, Mo-Eun sees Jin-Woo talking to Song Seo-Kyung, the gallery’s art director. Mo-Eun feels uneasy seeing them together. However, Jin-Woo is unaware of the situation.
Later, Jin-Woo and Mo-Eun celebrate the exhibition’s success with Jin-Woo’s friend, Hong Ki-Hyun, and his wife, Eun So-Hee. While there, Mo-Eun asks Ki-Hyun about the burn scar he has on his hand. He tells her that he got it from the fire accident in their high school. Mo-Eun realizes that the accident is the same one that Kwon Do-Hun and Song Seo-Kyung discussed earlier that day.
After they leave from there, Jin-Woo asks Mo-Eun if something is wrong. However, Mo-Eun fails to express her feelings through sign language or texting. So, she tells him that she will talk about it some other day when they have more time. The next day, Mo-Eun’s friend Jo-Han gets to learn from Mo-Dam that Mo-Eun is upset. So, he decides to take her to her parents’ home to make her feel better.
Mo-Eun feels good for some time after seeing her parents. While at home, she reveals to Jo-Han that Na Ae-Sook is not her birth mother, and she used to feel afraid that she would not love her as much. However, now that she is all grown up, she knows how much she means to her. After having a good time, Mo-Eun and Jo-Han leave from there.
At the end of the episode, Mo-Eun goes to see Jin-Woo at his home. However, when she reaches there she sees Song Seo-Kyung already standing there in front of his house. She is completely heartbroken to see her there. Then she sees Jin-Woo opening the door, and she goes inside his home. The episode ends with Mo-Eun standing there all alone.
