Episode 10 of Tell Me That You Love Me aired on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, on ENA and Disney Plus. Directed by Kim Yoon-Jin, the K-drama stars Jung Woo-Sung as Jin-Woo and Shin Hyun-Been as Mo-Eun.
Earlier, Tell Me That You Love Me episode 9 showed Jin-Woo getting an offer from Seo-Kyung to have a solo art exhibition. Following this, episode 10 explores the couple’s emotional moments as Jin-Woo expresses his insecurities to Mo-Eun. The episode also sees Jin-Woo agreeing to display his paintings in a solo exhibition.
Tell Me That You Love Me episode 10: Jin-Woo finally decides to showcase his paintings in a solo exhibition
Tell Me That You Love Me episode 10 begins with a flashback scene from Jin-Woo’s childhood. His friend Ki-Hyun got into a fight with another boy at school as he did not like hearing the boy’s mother asking him not to be Jin-Woo’s friend due to his hearing disability. From that moment, Jin-Woo realized that his loved ones got more hurt than him to protect him from the harsh world. The episode then jumps back to the present day, where Jin-Woo explains to Mo-Eun why he initially kept his distance from her.
He says that the thoughts of Mo-Eun getting hurt because of him made him distance himself from her at the beginning. In response, Mo-Eun tells Jin-Woo that he doesn’t have to protect her. She just wants to be with him since she loves him. Following this, the two embrace each other in an emotional moment.
Meanwhile, Mo-Eun’s childhood friend Jo-Han gets the offer to compose music for the television show in which Mo-Eun had just been cast. After realizing that it’s her debut TV series, Jo-Han quickly agrees to do it. Meanwhile, Jin-Woo’s ex-lover and the director of the art center, Song Seo-Kyung, wait for Jin-Woo to accept her proposal to showcase his artworks in a solo exhibition.
Later that night, Jin-Woo creates another mural painting in a neighborhood. While doing it, he thinks about Mo-Eun’s words. She encourages him to publicly show his work of art, after which he finally decides to participate in a solo exhibition. The next day, he meets with Song Seo-Kyung. He tells her about his decision to do the solo exhibition under her direction, and Song Seo-Kyung is delighted to hear the news.
Song Seo-Kyung apologizes to Jin-Woo in episode 10
In episode 10 of Tell Me That You Love Me, Jin-Woo celebrates with Mo-Eun after agreeing to do his first solo exhibition. During the celebration, he also reveals to Mo-Eun about his and Song Seo-Kyung’s past romantic relationship. Mo-Eun tells him she already knew about it but was waiting for Jin-Woo to tell her first.
Although they are happy and comfortable with one another, Mo-Eun gets insecure about Jin-Woo and Seo-Kyung. She thinks about whether their history will affect their relationship, as Jin-Woo was severely affected by their breakup. He even went on to live alone in a mountain area for many years after their separation. However, Jo-Han assures her that when it comes to love and feelings, the past does not matter.
At the end of the Tell Me That You Love Me episode, Jin-Woo visits the art center to take a closer look at it. Seo-Kyung sees him at the art center and goes on to talk to him. She emotionally apologizes to him for abandoning him suddenly all those years ago. The episode ends right there.
