My Demon Episode 7: Song Kang & Kim Yoo-Jung face a major roadblock
My Demon Episode 7 begins from where the previous episode left off. Demon Jung Gu-Won kisses Do Do-Hee so that they can hide their faces from No Do-Gyeong. After the latter leaves, the two come out only to meet a mysterious woman. They don’t take her seriously, but she holds secrets to the duo’s connection, considering she stated how his powers flickered.
Meanwhile, Do-Gyeong reaches home, but his mother keeps asking his whereabouts. He asks her not to send him to the psychiatrist anymore as he doesn’t believe in them. The following day, Gu-Won and Do-Hee think about why his demonic powers flickered briefly. Later, all of their belongings reach home. Do-Hee kicks the demon out after he protests having all of his items in the house.
While Gu-Won waits in his car, Joo Seok-Hoon (Lee Sang-Yi) visits Do-Hee with suspicions about Gu-Won’s identity as a human. He shows her pictures of Sunwol Foundation members, where Do-Hee finds Gu-Won. She puts all suspicions to rest with the excuse that the man in the photo is Gu-Won’s grandfather. But Seok-Hoon doesn’t believe her. On his way back, he finds the demon and warns him not to cause Do-Hee harm.
Jin Ga-Yeong reflects on how the demon saved her from her alcoholic father when she was young. Meanwhile, the stalker enters Gu-Won’s house, places a hidden audio recorder, and takes the demon guidebook with him. On the other hand, Gu-Won returns home and recharges himself by holding Do-Hee’s hand in bed. The two share the same bed and fall asleep. In the morning, they look at each other, conflicted about their feelings.
Meanwhile, Do-Hee receives a call from her assistant on how suspicious have arisen on the internet about her potentially killing Madam Ju. The news stems from a couple of content creators and has reached the masses. Seok-Hoon tells Do-Hee to talk to the board members, but Gu-Won advises them to solve the root of the problem. Seok-Hoon leaves, but he realizes Gu-Won and Do-Hee have disappeared from the room, raising more suspicions.
Do-Hee realizes her step-brother Noh Seok-Min (Kim Tae-Hoon) is behind the news and visits him. The two get into an argument when he almost shoots her from the back. She leaves with Gu-Won and visits the content creator. They successfully get him out of the way and reach the demon’s house. Gu-Won discovers that the book has disappeared. Meanwhile, the stalker hears their conversation and comes to know of the demon’s identity.
After spending some time at the Sunwol Foundation, Gu-Won drops Do-Hee to her house. On the other hand, the stalker informs the killer about the demon’s identity. The killer orders the stalker to get rid of Gu-Won first. Ahead of the attack, Noh Do-Gyeong receives a message saying, “Beginning the monster hunt.” However, it is still unclear whether he is the killer. The mysterious woman walks past two men, talking about not blaming one’s fate but the choices they make.
By the end of the episode, Gu-Won learns that Do Do-Hee has been arrested. He rushes to her rescue when the stalker stabs him and pierces the knife deep enough to make him unconscious. Viewers will have to wait and see if the demon survives the attack.
